Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are engaged! It happened last week.  But, in true reality queen fashion she waited to announce the news to People magazine.  Kim says that Kris surprised her with the engagement.  She walked into her Beverly Hills mansion to find him on bended knee with Will You Marry Me spelled out in rose petals. 

Kim's ring is a 16.5 emerald cut diamond flanked on either side by a pair of 2 carat trapazoid diamonds for a total weight of 20.5 carats. The ring is reportedly worth $2 million or about half the value of her Bev Hills mansion.  Word is TV execs are already talking about a televised wedding (Khloe & Lamar), spin off series a la Newlyweds and estimates have already been made that the photos would sell for $2million in the States and $1million internationally.   Wedding vendors will pay big bucks for the free advertising when all is said and done they could make $5million just for getting hitched.

Dexter, Dexter, Dexter

There has been no shortage of casting news for Dexter lately.  Colin Hanks (Orange County, Mad Men)  Mos Def (The Italian Job , 16 Blocks, The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy) , Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galatica) Billy Brown (Star Trek, Lights Out) have all been added to the cast so far in recurring roles.   Ya know because a lot of people die on this show. 

Filming began today on Season 6 and is set to air this fall. 

Hit Show And No Lead Actors

Chris Meloni will not be returning to Law & Order: SVU when the 13th season kicks off this fall.  Contract negotiations fell through and that was that.  Mariska Hargitay will be be taking on a less visible role on the show after the first half of the season.  So the search is on now for big names to replace both actors.  Jennifer Love Hewitt (I can't see it) is said to be the first choice of show creator Dick Wolf.

SVU is the last remaining Law & Order.  The original Law & Order was cancelled last year after 20 seasons (bonehead move) Law & Order: Los Angeles was cancelled after just 1 season and Law & Order: Criminal Intent is currently airing it's 10th and final season.  Maybe Ice-T could bring on his wife Coco and they could be the new leads.

Blame It On The Alcohol

In crazy news Estella Warren former model and sometimes actress (Planet of the Apes) was arrested for DUI after hitting 3 parked cars with her Prius, failed to stop for the police, physically assaulted a police officer.  Then after being booked she managed to get out of her handcuffs and escaped through the back door of the police station she was captured and escorted back to the station.

Warren, 32, was booked on a $100,000 bail following her arrest for hit and run, felony escape and DUI. 

Jillian Michaels Out Anna Kournikova In

Anna Kournikova has been confirmed as being the new trainer on The Biggest Loser when then show returns for its 13th season.  Kournikova is replacing Jillian Michaels who is leaving to focus on starting a family Michaels is currently in the process of adopting an African orphan.  Kournikiva is a former tennis pro but, failed to ever win a major grand slam event and was known more for her endorsement deals.

Today after 25 years, the final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show will air.  Everyone was buzzing about who would be Oprah's final guest.  In yet, another brilliant move it will be Oprah herself alone on stage for the entire hour.  Reflecting on the past 25 years with favourite clips and lessons learned over the years.

Billionaire Warren Buffett is the latest to appear in the season finale of The Office.
Buffett will play an unnamed character who is interviewing for the position recently vacated by Steve Carell's Michael Scott, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
 
The seventh-season finale is an embarassment of riches for the veteran NBC comedy, which already has Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, Catherine Tate, Jim Carrey, Ray Romano and James Spader lined up.

Chelsea Handler admitted on Piers Morgan Tonight this week that she and 50Cent "dated very casually"

"We dated, very casually," Handler admitted. "He's a very sweet, nice guy... I was sampling, kind of, the atmosphere, seeing what was out there, and I was satiated."

"I don't really like when men buy me ridiculous gifts, especially when I don't know them well," Handler says, explaining that 50 Cent overly tried to woo her and she would end up returning his presents to him. Matthew Perry, who has struggled with prescription pills and alcohol in the past, is going back to a treatment facility as part of his ongoing recovery.

The Friends star, 41, confirms the move in a statement that ends with a Chandler Bing-style dry quip.

"I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery," he says. "Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web.”

Perry, who most recently appeared in Mr. Sunshine on ABC, was in rehab twice in 2001 and 1997.

A source tells PEOPLE, "There was no relapse," and that the actor plans to enter the facility shortly.

Word also came out today that "Mr. Sunshine " his most recent sitcom was cancelled by ABC

Ashton Kutcher IN On Two And A Half Men

Ashton Kutcher is replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.  Negotiations came down to the last minute as Chuck Lorre, executive producer to the show was also talking to Hugh Grant about taking over the lead role and network upfronts (when the networks announce their new and returning fall shows) next week.  The clock was ticking pretty loud.  Jon Cryer (Duckie) and Angus T. Jones will be returning.  Ashton will reportedly receive a payday of $800,000 per episode which is just over half of the $1.4 million per episode that Charlie was making.


Of course Charlie Sheen couldn't leave this news without two cents...here it is.
"Ashton Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer. Oh wait, so am I!!" the actor griped Friday. "Enjoy the show America, Enjoy seeing 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB. Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."

Oprah Gets A Street, Plans To Return To Acting And Pisses Off Bulls Fans

Oprah had a street named after her in Chicago.  What took so long?  She's only been in town for 25 years.  The 100th block of North Carpenter Avenue in the city, which is the location of her chat show, has been renamed Oprah Winfrey Way.  Oprah also made it known that she's planning on devoting more time to making her OWN network as it's been struggling in the ratings.  But, her other plans include starring in a Broadway play she's reading scripts now.

The daytime queen has now forced the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat to reschedule the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals, ESPN Radio reported.
The game was supposed to take place Tuesday in Chicago's United Center, but Winfrey is taping one of her last shows in the arena.
So now the Heat will meet the Bulls on Sunday.


TNT's studio commentator Charles Barkley told ESPN Radio how he found out about the rescheduling.
"We just got the e-mail saying we were supposed to start next Tuesday, but Oprah has it then," he said. "So they said, well let's do it Monday. Oprah is having one of her last shows, so she's got the United Center locked up. They're going to set up Monday and tape her show Tuesday. So they just sent out an e-mail and said prepare to go to Chicago and start Game 1 Sunday afternoon. They're going to move it up three days, for Oprah."


The double taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show at the United Center will air May 23-24, and the final episode airs May 25.
On Wednesday, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley honored Winfrey by naming a block in front of her Harpo Studios "Oprah Winfrey Way."

Lindsay Lohan has already started her community service and is gaining fans at the homeless women's shelter where she'll be spending 360 hours.  A source tells RadarOnline.com Lindsay was "very professional" and at times moved by the homeless women she met at the Los Angeles shelter.
"Staffers didn't know what to expect, but Lindsay showed up and was thoroughly engaged during the day," an insider close to the situation tells us.


"Lindsay was truly humbled," the source added. "Staffers had her sort through donations and talk to the clients. Lindsay was especially moved by the children of these homeless women."


The women were initially excited to meet Lindsay because she is a celebrity, but that wore off very quickly and Lindsay has made it clear to everyone that she doesn't expect nor want any special treatment." Lindsay returns to court on Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing in connection with her misdemeanor grand theft case.

Whitney Houston is back in rehab.  She's in a outpatient facility and is allowed to leave the facility as long as she has a monitor (sober coach).  According to sources Whitney's treatment is part of her commitment to remain clean and sober.  She's reportedly cleansing herself for a new movie role.  Hmmm...Could it be the sequel to "Waiting to Exhale"? Which Angela Bassett recently announced the original cast has signed on to do.  Perhaps.  Good Luck Whit!

Tallulah Belle Willis, 17 youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore was cited Friday night for underage drinking in Hollywood.  Because of her age police weren't allowed to release her and called Daddy Bruce but, it was Mama Demi that came to collect her.  This run-in with the law comes just a few weeks after Tallulah was spotted at Coachella music festival chain smoking.
