Depression Pre-Booked for 2012
From US Magazine
Alec Baldwin confirmed it: 30 Rock will be ending next season. At a Tuesday night gala in New York for the National Dance Institute, the actor told Vulture that the hit NBC comedy's sixth and final season will be in 2012.
"I will tell you one thing," Baldwin, 53, said. "And that is our show next year is our last year of the show."
"Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina [Fey] is gonna have a big career directing films and writing," he said. "She's going to be the next Elaine May. She'll be great."
Since 2006, Baldwin has played the role of television network Vice President Jack Donaghy alongside Fey, Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski. He's now getting ready to star in a big-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, which will also feature Tom Cruise.
