After failing miserably in Detroit Charlie Sheen took his Torpedo Violent of Truth to the Windy City and actually got a standing ovation. Seems like there was some major tweaking. Gone were the opening act comedian and Charlie on stage alone rambling about nothing in particular (not in the fun way we've gotten used to seeing from him) Instead he used a talk show format instead of just blathering on and on. One fan called the show weird, but said: “At least no one was booing.”
In other Charlie news, he’ll be the topic of a “True Hollywood Story” at 9 p.m. Wednesday on E!
